Yamaha PSR E423 Keyboard Set with Stand and Headphones

If you are looking for a keyboard for "Home use"and it shouldn't be a "children's toys, but also not a professional instrument" then PSR E423 is a wise choice. It could be a delightful keyboard as the bass drums are rendered faithfully and rhythms and timbres for each genre are adjustable. It will be more interesting if I say that I still have not tested more than a quarter of the options so far. The same is true for almost unlimited effects.

The entire performance of this keyboard is outstanding. Even a professional should be charmed by it. The operating instruction is somewhat understandable, provided but still with too many terms for beginners. It should describe among others detailed how e.g. the volume of the melody or accompaniment can be changed.

Finally in the price-performance ratio, I give it a 5 stars to this instrument and can recommend it at any time.

Innovative styling and superior sound
The Yamaha PSR E 423 provides a number of innovative features. The Yamaha PSR offers E except for the Yamaha portable Grand button and the Yamaha Education Suite 423 functions such as synthesizer knobs for real-time control of filters, effects and style tempo. The arpeggiator of Yamaha PSR E 423 offers 150 different patterns.

Knob, arpeggiator and pitch bend
Most of the features of PSR d002 were compared to the predecessor model PSR-E413 developed further. Two knobs allow filtering the sounds in real time, and also the pace with arpeggio chords can be changed "live", just like at one analog synthesizer which is case. The pitch-bend wheel evokes sounds, such as the saxophone and the trumpet, truly to life.

Powerful arpeggio feature
Open up a source of immediate inspiration with the arpeggio function! 150 various arpeggio types that generate automatically useful patterns and phrases, and focused it on the played notes and chords.

Many new dynamic sounds
Dynamic sounds can be found only in high-end workstations. Now they also exist in the new PSR d002. They consist of two different waveforms, which change depending on how hard you reaches the keys. Dadaurch sound much more authentic sounds such as "distorted guitar" or "Classical guitar". Now, there are 700 of this high-quality sounds from acoustic to electric.

Product Highlights :

  • 61 Keys with velocity, 700 sounds, 3 cool voices, 5 sweet voices + 3 dynamic voices

Onkyo SKS HT 528 5.1 Speaker System (Front 120 Watt, 120 Watt Center, 150 Watt active subwoofer) black

I've found three people lately that have bought this set and find it useful to post it here before I go into details of its features.

Rolf Petek from Germany:

First of all I would like to say about the "problem" that people have with the subwoofer and its stand by mode. The "problem" is clearly with the users. I am a total newbie in terms of HiFi but I can read the instruction manual where even drinne stands that one certain settings on the receiver to perform; If the subwoofer enters by mode during operation in the state everything works as it should.

The sound is of the system is simply Super. UPS, downs, and the bass are really great and clear. The dynamic is tip and at correct settings in the receiver, there is nothing to gripe. Look at the movies, play the video games as well listen to the music. Still, a certain "bums" comes across even at low volume.

The look is very nice and everything is processed tip top.

Also, can be mounted the loudspeakers without additional accessories on the wall.

The cable length for the subwoofer is 3.5 meters, the center is 3 meters, for the front speaker 3.5 meters and for the surround speakers 8 meters.(It was here that I had to extend a cable.Otherwise I think sufficient times). The cables are all colour marks and can be thus easily connected. At least for my receiver, it is the same colours.

I guess that you will find nothing better for that price.

Jackie from Amazon.com :

I ordered superior to this facility with "Concerns" at Amazon after long time. Respect. Despite Christmas, the plant was after two days in the House.

What you ask even for this money. But my concerns were in vain. The optics is the hammer. I have the Onkyo SKS HT528 with a Panasonic AV reciever. The sound blew me. I'll give this plant definitely not back. I have no problems with standby of Suwoofers (as previous speakers stated). Is only a matter of the setting.

Short and just said "more sound for less does not work". It can easily absorb these boxes with some other (expensive) models.

Harvy Gangju from Resident Advisor :

I bought the system to replace it for my old NONAME set, because this has served out. It is owned and operated by an Onkyo TX-SR 307. According to Onkyo the set of the best is an Onkyo because it was built for this receiver. After the installment what has easily provided was the measurement of the AV-R. As always, this has done good work, only the level of volume was set too low.

Sound: The sound is very detail and precision. Of course it is necessary to check it in relation to the size of the LS. The centers are somewhat less available but in the correct setting of the subwoofer and the other parts this also is not a problem.

Processing: The speakers are (non-detachable) glossy plastic optics with a fabric front and make a very stable impression in the feel. The subwoofer is very voluminous and fits in very well.

Verdict: The set provides a good sounding and powerful set for this price in conjunction with a good AVR.
Absolute choice.

Review of Classic Cantabile DP-90 RH Digitalpiano Rosenholz

I'm not a pianist, but anyway I played for 8 years on a "real" piano. This is unfortunately no longer there, so I decided to buy an electric piano. I was very astonished by the competitive price of DP-90. First I was a bit suspicious but then I called the seller, and he said, the piano is completely sufficient for the newcomers. Good faith so I ordered the DP-90.

Packaging:
Excellent and safe packaging, however, the piano is not easy with his 60 kg. You should organize any help.

Design:
Visually, I find the DP-90 very considerable. It is compact, fits into a smaller apartment. The processing is super. The color looks very classy. The buttons for the different settings are very discreet, so it really reminds of a piano and not at a keyboard. The note holder is also great. The cover for the keys runs properly in the rail. Therefore all top!

Features:
Here, I have very low claims. I wanted to have just a piano. The DP-90 is a piano but with quite different features. You can set different sounds or instruments, but I have to say that I am not a big fan of. Some people who like, I can show them the most important instruments here. The metronome, which is additionally supported by blinking LED's comes in handy. With the DP-90, you can record two tracks which I find very nice if you want to improvise times. The tracks can take place at the same time, probably. Otherwise yet there are songs and different settings demo, such as for example the velocity (touch response). The DP-90 is equipped by the functions that produced minimal, but at least for my needs perfectly adequate.

Keyboard:
The keyboard makes a good impression. The attack is not quite as soft as like the pianos that I've played so far and heard a muffled shot at each keystroke. This is however very quite and accordingly you only hear it when you play very quietly. Otherwise the game on the keyboard feels great.

Sound:
Now to the most important point, the sound. Here, I must admit first of all that you can expect no wonder of sound for the price. Therefore, I was somewhat disappointed when I played the first time on the DP-90. But you quickly accustomed! Of course the sound is not like a real piano or an electric piano with a higher price range. You can turn but a bit on the settings or connect external speakers (what I however still not tried). When I then test it with my headphones have connected the last doubts about the sound were eliminated. Whose claims are not too high, should not be disappointed also at the sound of DP-90.

Overall:
I was, but very skeptical on the price but now I am convinced.

Yamaha NP-31 keyboard 76 keys Review

Actually I was looking for just a handy and cheap MIDI keyboard with as many buttons to work with virtual instruments (Pianoteq and co.) to the PC. Because this product in the same price range is how many 76/88-keys MIDI master keyboards without sound production, I have times the risk a look and was not disappointed.

The keyboard keyboard is impeccable, the velocity is absolutely evenly on all 76 keys and can be adjusted in three stages. Support an analogue half pedal may be unique, but not delivered with. Piano players should know however that the keys are not the full size, but are slightly shorter and slightly narrower than standard piano keys.

The piano sound is decreased by the Yamaha wing beats everything I have heard so far in this price range, comes through the built-in speakers but not fully to bear. Here, the use of high-quality HiFi headphones is recommended. The boundaries show only when using the pedal. Although the notes kept strings swinging with, how to hear them at a right wing, are not modelled but.

The dual function, which for example the piano sound in addition inferior embarks with strings is also nice. Which man however quickly the limits he finds polyphony of NP 31 only 32stimmingen. The classic demo piano pieces installed in the device have been properly recorded and sound convincing.

From the MIDI input can be controlled to the NP-31 as tone generators, thereby striking a criticism is however: Although the keyboard has a built-in metronome, no percussive sounds are available via MIDI, making it difficult to record with an external MIDI metronome. On the availability as a MIDI master keyboard on the MIDI output, there are nothing but to suspend. I have it about an ESI MIDI INMATE II is connected to the USB interface. The cheaper USB adapter is not recommended.

Overall, the Yamaha NP-31 is equipped although quite Spartan, but what there is, makes a convincing impression. The functionality isn't enough who gets a full workstation with the NP-V80 for EUR 100 more.

Yamaha PSR-E333 Portable Keyboard Review

My daughter would like to play keyboard. To allow it to start, I was looking for a good keyboard, which is not quite as expensive.

After much back and forth, as well as a consultation in the music store, we are now landed at the Yamaha PSR-E333. Yamaha is already times a brand you know. Unfortunately, there is also just about everything, in every price range.

On this acassion a music teacher has helped me alot. On his recommendation, we have just ordered this keyboard

First Impression: In terms of weight surprisingly light. Moreover, the whole thing was very well packaged and secure.Of course, we have plugged in the keyboard immediately and start eating.

Manual is, however, almost unnecessary, since most of the features are self-explanatory. The sound is great. The selection of rhythms perfectly adequate and very modern. For our entry suitable wonderful. Most ingenious is the ability to record yourself playing from the Rec button.

In addition, the keyboard has a USB interface, ie it can connect with a laptop. This is currently the only function that has not been tested by us (because no laptop provided). The display of the keyboard have been digitally recorded the keyboard again, there again, you watch what keys you press even further.

In addition, a staff line is recorded that when you hit the keys representing the notes. Easier to learn not just about you. Is of course, we will make our teaching professionals here, like the keyboard, however, established and designated, here you can determine the right way to read

and learn a musical ear and even some easy pieces. Velocity will also work well.

In short, the keyboard makes an amazing.

Yamaha P 95B Digital Piano (12 Watt)

Dear Readers,

I myself have started 2 years ago to play the piano. The P 95 is really good. A full piano. And unlike earlier today in digital pianos so the sound quality pianos "been scanned."

You will hear original Steinway - with the huge advantage: you must never let this piano tune. Polyphony and 64 times (which indicates the degree of authenticity such as a resonating sound again) is absolutely sufficient. A super piano with 88 keys, a good organ sound, but without frills.

The design is appealing. Nevertheless, a point deduction. Why?
For some time I have another digital - a Roland FP-7F. This is a completely different price range: 2000 E held here 600 E.

The difference is clear:
The Yamaha sounds compared very light, almost hollow. Lacks "substance", while Roland's (3x as expensive) is strong, voluminous bass. Second reason : It is tightened to 12 watts. That is correct, but in my eyes a little dishonest: Only 2x6 Watt not ... 2x12 watts!

Resume: The Yamaha P95 is great, is great. For the price. Absolutely good for the first few years at the piano. Great enthusiasm. Easily transportable, and the keyboard is really outstanding. Sound but only 4 out of 5.

Whether it's in this price range, however, is a more vigorous with digital sound, I do not know. Nevertheless: Who buys the Yamaha P95, makes everything right. And another thing: Not only adults but also for children a piano / a Digital is absolutely correct.

Yamaha P 95? Buy!

Yamaha P-95 B Stage Piano :

Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard with matte black keytops
As on a traditional acoustic piano, the keys of the lower notes have a heavier touch, while the higher ones are more responsive to lighter and faster on the attack. The touch sensitivity can be even more varied in order to adapt perfectly to their gaming habits. This technology provides an authentic playing experience in an easily portable instrument.

Compact, modern design
The attractive, lightweight design of the instrument - it weighs less than 12 kg - adapts to any device and takes up less space than a table. You definitely need no piano forwarding it!

Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) Stereo Sampling
The AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) is a sampling new method that produces a sound that can not be close to the original sound as before. Using digital technology and the best digital filters out there, the sounds were recorded and edited. Stereo Sampling provides a further, deeper and more brilliant sound by two waveforms (L and R) are included.

The most important sounds
This instrument provides a set of commonly used sounds such as grand pianos, electric pianos, organs, harpsichord, vibraphone and strings. Each of these sounds has been with Yamaha's unrivaled love of detail recorded and reproduced.

New built-in stereo speaker system
This tool has a highly efficient speaker system. With 6 watts per side, these keyboards are ready for their performance, no matter when, no matter where.

50 demo songs for piano
